Time for a Real Estate Break
During the Christmas to New Year’s holidays, those of us in the biz get a few weeks to “chill” (how much can depend on the weather) for a few weeks while our buyers and sellers take time off from real estate activities.
Those who follow my posts know my advice is to get right to it after New Year’s if you are in the buying or selling mode.
My prediction for 2010: Interest rates will rise sometime after the end of April. Once that begins, you can kiss five per cent mortgages goodbye. Don’t be surprised when, all of a sudden, six per cent will start feeling really good.
Let’s look back in a year and see what happens.
