Beautiful Downtown Oakland
In addition to its fabulous, Mediterranean weather, great shops and stunning San Francisco Bay views, the city of Oakland has many beautiful buildings. Several days ago, on a lovely, September morning, I was in the downtown area.
As I walked around Frank Ogawa Plaza, I marveled at the striking elegance of Oakland’s City Hall. When I entered The Rotunda Building, I experienced, as I had on previous visits, one of the world’s most exquisite structures. With the few minutes I had before my meeting, out came my iPhone to capture the morning light on City Hall and the reflection of the Rotunda dome on its terrazzo flooring.
